In the nineties of last century, the metal magnetic liner was widely used in the mineral processing plants of China's iron ore industry, which played a great role in energy saving and consumption reduction of iron and steel industry, and was affirmed by the majority of mineral processing technicians of ferrous metallurgy mines. However, due to the small distribution of magnetic minerals in the raw ore materials of gold mines, the early magnetic liners can not meet the needs of gold mine grinding, and there are concerns about the impact of mill processing capacity and product particle size, so that mineral processing technicians are afraid to choose magnetic liners because of their long service life, safety, reliability, environmental protection and other advantages.

In recent years, with the strong support of Beijing Municipal Government Innovation Fund, the scientific and technological workers of Beijing huanmo Technology Co., Ltd. have persistently innovated and improved the technology and materials of magnetic liner. They have done a lot of work in improving the hardness of the magnetic liner body, optimizing the magnetic field design, increasing the magnetic induction intensity, changing the shape design and so on, and obtained more than ten patent technologies. In 2017, with the strong support of the leadership of China Gold Group, it was used for the first time on the Φ 4.27 m × 6.5 m ball mill of Xinda mining concentrator with Φ 40 mm and Φ 60 mm balls. Since the installation on September 12, 2017, the application effect of nearly two years shows that the effect of reducing power consumption and cost without affecting the processing capacity and grinding fineness is obvious, with an average power saving of 4 degrees per ton of raw ore; the service life of the lining plate is expected to be 4 years, which is 4 times of that of manganese steel lining plate, which improves the operation rate of ball mill; the installation is convenient without bolt fixation, which reduces the labor intensity of workers; comprehensive With high cost performance and huge economic benefits, it has been unanimously recognized by enterprise leaders and field workers.

At the exchange meeting, the representatives visited the site and personally inspected the wear and protective layer of the magnetic liner inside the mill, and listened to the application report of the user and the research and development report of the production unit. We talked freely, exchanged views on the issues we were concerned about, and put forward good suggestions on how to improve and perfect the magnetic lining.
